Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
– The Apostle Paul, 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18
Praying is central in the life of the believer, both personally and collectively within the local fellowship. It is an acknowledgement of our complete and utter dependence upon God. The members of Calvary Chapel La Pine regularly pray whenever we gather, offering prayers of thanksgiving, adoration, confession, and supplication to the God who created all things, holds all things together, and is sovereign over all things.
Christians are charged to “Pray without ceasing” and as such prayer doesn’t just happen at our corporate gatherings. Members of a local church should pray for one and other and with one another often. Therefore, we make it a point to encourage Believers to pray often.
